Ahead of the opening ceremony of the 16th Quadrennial General Conference of the Association of African Universities in Rabat, Morocco, today, the All-Africa Students Union (AASU) was featured this morning on AAU TV’s Hello Africa Show!

Our Chief Technical Officer, Bismark Amefianu Kudoafor, joined the live discussion to share insights from AASU’s latest report:

“Rethinking Higher Education Pathways for Innovation and Sustainability”

The report, which will be officially presented at the conference under Subtheme 5: Climate Change, Green Energy, and the Blue Economy, reflects the voices of students across Africa calling for urgent reforms in higher education to close the green skills gap and empower youth-led innovation.

Bismark highlighted the role of universities in advancing sustainability, the establishment of Green Offices, and the power of student agency in driving Africa’s green transition.
